Canada’s aging society reduces the country’s economic growth

economic growthAlready in 2014, Canada’s aging population will make economic growth at the level of 2.2 percent and not 2.4 as assumed. This is the forecast of the central bank. Longer work and greater savings are needed.
To prevent a drastic decline in our standard of living or shifting too much burden on future generations, we have only three options: more jobs, greater productivity and higher.
Plans to extend the retirement age from 65 to 67 years presented in the previous week, by the government in the budget for fiscal year 2012-13. Parts of Canadians will make decision of postponing pension into the future quite easy.

Finalisation of the largest Polish foreign investment in Canada

Ministry of Industry of Canada confirmed the compliance of transactions with the Investment Canada Act, thus opening the way for this unprecedented transfer at the biggest foreign investment in the history of the Polish company. It is thanks to the transaction worth 2.9 billion dollars. South African company is investing in Canadian shale gas

Canadian shale gasWith $1.1 billion petrochemical company Sasol of South Africa buys from Canadian company Talisman half of the shares in the bed of shale gas in the western part of British Columbia.
Sasol will buy from the company Talisman half of the shares in the deposit of shale gas Cypress A, whose resources are estimated at 317 billion cubic meters of gas. Three months ago, the South African company has already signed a similar agreement with Talisman, buying half the shares in slightly lower shale gas deposit.
